That's not exactly how the song goes, but it applies to us next week.
I received a call from MD Anderson this afternoon & I am scheduled to meet with Dr. Shah at the hospital a week from today, Tuesday, April 10th. Brian is going with me I was told to plan on us staying there through Friday.
I feel excited & a bit nervous all at the same time. I'm excited to get moving on this & figure out what treatments will be. However, I'm a little nervous about how I will handle the treatments. The comfort in the midst of the storm is knowing that my precious Lord already knows what my treatments will be and He will care for me no matter what. Plus, with my guys & my friends & family by my side, I couldn't be in a better place.
My prayer at this point is that we can get all the travel arrangements made as quickly as possible & get everything lined up to take care of both of our jobs while we are gone.
Thank you for all your love, support & prayers, dear ones. We love you so much!

WE will be holding all of you up in our prayers. God does already know all about it and has a plan in the works right now. We love you and if there is anything we can do for you, know that we will do it.
Love all of you
Aunt Imogene and Uncle Louie
Jana, best of luck next week. We'll keep you in our prayers. Theresa
You have many people saying prayers for your well being, Jana, and the Lord hears every prayer. He may not always give us what we want, but He still answers them all. I hope your treatment is helpful, and your prognosis good. I will be keeping you in my prayers, and hoping God answers them in the way that I want. Good luck at the hospital and with the docs. If we can do anything, don't hesitate to ask.
You are in my thoughts.
I actually know that song! lol
I wish you a safe journey, and the best treatment possible. :)
Jana, you are in my prayers. Jeremiah 39:11 is the Scripture that Our Lord sends me to regularly, and has for the past 14 years as I struggled to overcome a very bad life situation. Also, Matthew 4:18-19 which was the gospel lesson this past Sunday:
The spirit of the Lord is upon me. Wherefore he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the contrite of heart,
To preach deliverance to the captives and sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of reward.
And II Timothy 1:7:
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Will keep you and your family in my prayers.
